Final ALF-CEMIND workshop
The final workshop of the ALF-CEMIND project was held in Athens on the 13th
of December 2007, Hotel Athens Imperial.
The title of the workshop was “Alternative Fuels & Alternative Raw Materials
in the Cement Industry - Findings and Results”
The workshop attended representatives from the Hellenic Ministry of
Development, the Hellenic Ministry for the Environment, Physical Planning and
Public Works and professors of the National Technical University of Athens. A
wide spectrum of stakeholders from Greece and Cyprus, i.e. cement companies
participated in the final ALF-CEMIND workshop.
The audience had the opportunity to be informed on the current developments
in the cement industry of SE Europe as well as to discuss and exchange views on
the project results and outcomes.
